Look it what I did?

First, Look it, is not grammatically correct, but is very ingrained into my vocabulary and cannot be broken….second, with a phrase like that you thought I was gonna write something about the kids huh?  This is all me folks!

Ok, so here goes…. We had a minor plumbing problem and because of that I determined that I wanted nothing on the pantry floor….I could not have an issue where food was going to be “yuck-i-fied” and in turn thrown out.  So because I was driven by the need to actually have to clean up the mess….I torn everything out of the pantry….and the cupboards (which as pointed out to me by Phil was not in my motto of “one room at a time)  Any way…. I was in a stand still with fixing my problem until I built a case to add as storage.  I asked my sister to come over, but I am impatient, and I don’t build things…. I am directionally challenged.  But I opened it and dumped out contents and I got so nervous… I kept saying, “I can do this…I can build this” and let me point out that this is a $20 shelf thing that I bet Jonathan could have built.

OK, I was SO thrilled with myself that I could not stop patting myself on the back.  All day I was like, “Look what I built…lokk it, look it”  Our neighbor came over to ask a question and I was like, “Oh come look it”  By the end of the night I said to Phil, “I feel like Tom Hanks….I, I have built shelving!”  HA HA HA

The point, I am excited that what I set as a limit for myself was overcome….many are asking, “Will I build again”  just kidding…. ha ha…I am cracking-myself up this morning!  ENJOY your Tuesday and do something you have told yourself that can’t do… it is FUN!
